why see the world when you got the beach a frank ocean says from the other side of the cistern, makes me think stories untreated are an irrepressible thing, tides of flotsam, they swipe the morning thick with brackish, and yet still we must remember we’re not all great gatsby or alexander expediting dawn a linen and flaxen reveal a brown dog an iphone a single handheld up to a yacht the wake of it all unmooring

---

you gotta be frank sometimes privilege washes over like an infinity pool, its edge colonising our neck and midday head – galleons baptising and dripping silt spitting prayer after prayer to afterpay a palimpsest for a present in layby, for the reckoning

-- this year’s going to be a girl a la niña from south america so we better say gracias we better save the evensong as we ain’t all sandstone even manly gets southerlies leaving lyrics wet on the isthmus between our lips, our single breath taken underwater begins to look blue and green,

nacreous trysts of teal only ever seen once in a story, already fifteen seconds ago
